"Long Over-due Romantic Stay"
Recently my husband of 15 years marriage and 27 years together, had the
opportunity to have a much needed and overdo romantic getaway in SF. We
stayed at the wonderful Personality Hotel: The Hotel Union Square. We were
generously afforded the rooftop penthouse suite and were met with a personal
touch; hand written note of welcome, a lovely bottle of wine and scrumptuous
chocolates. Our two night stay was just the right remedy for some much
deserved R&R- we only wish we could have stayed longer. We can't wait to
return.

"Great Location"
This hotel made my stay in SF, perfect! We stayed 2 blocks from Union
Square, near everything. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff was
helpful and we also enjoyed free wine every evening! I would stay there
again for sure.

"Clean, Contemporary Boutique Hotel With an Awesome Staff!"
I was concerned about trying a new hotel in the Union Square area. I was
drawn in by the web site and decided to go ahead and take a chance. From the
superior front desk staff, on site parking, its proximity to shopping and
trolley, variety of dining choices, contemporary decor, very comfortable
bed, clean bathrooms I was so pleased by it all. Union square is a busy,
noisy place late into the night and early morning however I was not bothered
by the street noise with a courtyard room, or a third floor street side room
my guess is that the windows are insulated well. I enjoyed the rain shower
head and flat screen TV. I missed the evening wine hour but did enjoy the
coffee bar in the morning. I will definitely stay again. If you are
concerned about noise, view or air conditioning call the hotel at booking
because several different room amenities are available just let them know
your preferences

"The Total San Francisco Experience"
We stayed for six nights at the Hotel Union Square while touring the City
and attending to some art business. It's located in THE heart of San
Francisco, meaning that it offered us nothing less than TOTAL immersion in
the life of the City. We read the reviews about the cable car noise and were
undaunted. I mean, come on. What is the most recognizable symbol of San
Francisco other than the Cable Car? If it's running past on the street down
below your window where else would you be?
San Francisco is a world-class city and it's people offered us nothing less
than a walk across the entire planet in terms of the languages they spoke,
the food they offered in restaurants, and the charm of mashing literally
dozens of cultures together into a relatively small place. We were able to
walk everywhere or we could jump on any one of the six forms of public
transportation within a block and a half of the Hotel. The immediate area
offered unbelievable shopping and we took Cable Cars and Antique Street Cars
to the Embarcadero and Fisherman's Wharf.
The staff at Hotel Union Square presented themselves with complete
professionalism the entire time we stayed. Tom greeted us each early morning
with smiles and a ready suggestion based on our questions. The desk staff
assisted us with boarding passes on our way out of town. We didn't rent a
car because we wanted to have the entire urban experience, but the hotel has
a large parking lot on the rear of the property where a friend visiting from
Santa Cruz parked her car for a very reasonable rate.
We're going back to San Francisco as soon as we can and we're going to book
Hotel Union Square without a doubt.
